Paythan is a novel based on true stories. The discovery of the body of Paythan Burke, a young Native American student found beaten to death in a Mexico opened an investigation undertaken by U.S. Marshal, Maka Mahpiya. With each clue, Maka is sucked deeper into the maze of racism, murder, child sex exploitation, and unexplainable phenomenon.
